Apple Walnut Salad

A fresh, colorful fruit and nut salad that is naturally sweet, crunchy and full of nutrients.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium apple
  • 1 small orange
  • 2 tbsp pomegranate seeds
  • 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
  • 2 chopped dates
  • 1 tbsp raisins

Method
 

  1. Chop the apple into small chunks and add to a mixing bowl.
  2. Add pomegranate seeds for a tangy contrast.
  3. Add chopped walnuts for crunch.
  4. Add dates and raisins to naturally sweeten the salad.
  5. Peel the orange, cut into small pieces and add it to the bowl.
  6. Toss gently and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose a firm, sweet apple so the salad stays crisp.
If your orange is very juicy, segment it carefully to avoid excess liquid.
Add a squeeze of lemon if you want a brighter flavor.
Toasting the walnuts lightly will enhance their flavor.
For extra richness, add a spoonful of nut butter on top.
