Quinoa Fruit Bowl

A colorful, refreshing bowl filled with fresh fruits, nuts, seeds and natural sweetness.
Course: Breakfast, Main Course

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup cooked quinoa
  • 1 medium apple chopped
  • 2 tbsp chopped nuts
  • 1 tbsp mixed seeds sunflower, pumpkin etc
  • 2 dates chopped
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin seed powder optional
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate seeds

Method
 

  1. Add the cooked quinoa to a bowl.
  2. Sprinkle black pepper and roasted cumin powder and mix well.
  3. Add chopped apple or any seasonal fruit of your choice.
  4. Add nuts, seeds, dates, raisins and pomegranate seeds.
  5. Mix gently and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Use any fruit you like such as banana, mango, kiwi or berries.
Cook quinoa lightly salted for better flavor balance.
If preparing in advance, add fruits just before serving to keep them fresh.
Toast the nuts and seeds for extra crunch.
Add more dates or raisins if you prefer a sweeter bowl.
