Ingredient Notes

Chickpeas: Boiled or canned chickpeas form the protein-rich, hearty base. Slightly textured mash ensures the patties hold together while still having a satisfying bite.

Green Chilies & Ginger: Provide warmth, subtle heat, and aromatic freshness. Adjust according to your spice preference.

Cilantro: Adds herbaceous brightness that balances the richness of chickpeas and spices.

Breadcrumbs, Rice Flour, or Chickpea Flour: Acts as a binder to help the patties hold their shape. Chickpea flour keeps it gluten-free, while breadcrumbs provide a lighter texture.

Spices: Offer a subtle heat, depth, and earthy aroma, making each bite flavorful without being overpowering.

Didn’t expect these to hold together so well. Really solid texture and flavor. Good balance of spices and not dry. Would make again.
